Outdoor Leadership Accelerator Program

The Verascapes’ Outdoor Leadership Accelerator Program (OLAP) is a unique program advancing inclusive leadership in the outdoors. We bring together outdoor leaders who are committed to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ), and we accelerate their professional development through skill-building, conversation, and coaching.
Each cohort is composed of people with diverse identities, ages, skills, and professional trajectories. This intentional mix fosters deeper learning and greater power-sharing. Our team of teachers and coaches lead the cohort through our carefully designed curriculum. Each participant will develop and expand their inclusive leadership skills, tools, and knowledge.
The work to create a more inclusive world never ends, but our cohort will leave the program better prepared to impact outdoor communities as part of our network of leaders with shared goals and values.
