I am steeped in affinity group work. Even within the same demographics, there is so much to understand and process. The Outdoor Leadership Accelerator Program is the best resource I have come across with such a comprehensive plan to educate and call in anyone willing to do the work to ensure we are all free: in the outdoors and in overall life.

OLAP created a curriculum that allowed a safe place for me to learn and grow as an educator and guide. It opened me up to my own biases as well as techniques and practices to incorporate into my own teaching. Mad respect and love for the Verascape's Teachers and Community.

The Outdoor Leadership Accelerator program creates space for intentional conversation and instruction amidst the fast-paced outdoor industry. The community that grew from the seven month program is one I cherish- a network of thoughtful, inclusive outdoor leaders I will continue to bounce ideas off for years to come!

OLAP helped me transition from wanting to be an inclusive leader, to implementing real tools in the programs that mean so much to me and my community. I hope this becomes a benchmark for our industry/community leaders - the idea that cultural responsible tenets are key for us to understand where each other is coming from and how to co-create a better future.

I am so grateful to have been a part of the first OLAP crew! I grew so much as an outdoor leader while also developing and deepening my understanding of what inclusive leadership truly means. I often mention how important it is to take space and make space in the outdoors. I am so thankful for the skills, knowledge and wonderful community I have gained to further this mission and make our outdoor spaces more inclusive and equitable for all.
