Affinity Programming
Provide leadership and training to help launch and support affinity programs in outdoor spaces. Verascapes has worked with Climbers of Color and Canary Club to create meaningful, inclusive experiences. With Canary Club, some participants experienced, for the first time, the powerful connection of being in the backcountry with other Indigenous, Native American, and First Nations individuals.

AIARE Level 1 for Teens
A developmentally appropriate avalanche education program tailored for teenagers, using language and teaching methods designed for their needs.
AIARE Level 2 BIPOC Outdoor Leaders
A specialized learning environment for backcountry skiers and riders, providing advanced avalanche education in a supportive, culturally informed space.
Advanced Search and Rescue Workshop
A one- or multi-day field training course focusing on advanced rescue techniques, including strategies for close and very close proximity burials.
Custom Youth Programming
Mountain Goat Kids Outdoor After School Program
A hands-on, adventure-based program designed to build outdoor skills, confidence, and a connection with nature. Kids will learn essential skills such as first aid, map navigation, fire safety, and weather observation, all while having fun and playing in structured outdoor environments.
Mentoring/Coaching
Professional development coaching for outdoor leaders.
Guidance for those pursuing careers in outdoor education, especially in AMGA ski programs and AIARE avalanche education. We also provide mentorship for women and BIPOC individuals navigating the outdoor industry, offering insights, support, and strategic career planning.
